Let's have a collective sigh...Brittany had Baby Boston on April 25th

She let me be in the room as the miracle happened. It makes me start to tear up when I think about it. I had a wave of memories of Lola being born. Brittany did great. After he was getting all cleaned up Britt was looking at him and took a deep breath out and said I can't believe he is really here, that it actually happened. She has had her fair share of difficulties with babies.

Brittany and I weren't ever super close growing up, we were too close in age and too different to get along. But I can honestly say now that she is my best friend. Now we are a lot alike. When I think of what a best friend is I think of her. She is so amazingly helpful and so loving to my girls. She has watched Ella and recently Lola since Ella was born for at least one day a week. I always knew that Ella would get a nap (and usually a napping partner) and that Ella would ALWAYS do something fun either it was make a fun treat, get nails painted, go on walks when Britt had her.

Brittany is always first to offer to bring something whenever we have a party and to help in anyway, she can always think of the perfect gift to get my girls (I am the worst at that), she comes by my work often and has brought cupcakes, cookies or a shake or best of all a visit from Ella when she watched her.

And let's face it Britt is just fun to be around...she is funny, likes to bake as much (maybe more) as I do, she loves doing projects on her house (again maybe more) as I do, she is always up for just about anything and supports me and my family (she is a big RLS fan now too!)
I get emotional when I think of how grateful I am that Ella and Lola have each other. What a blessing Brittany has been to me. Love you Britt! Congratulations on that little sweetie Boston!
